Tidy Numbers

At Maths time in the group that I'm in is learning about Tidy numbers. To do it is you either add or Take away a number. I add did one more to the 49 to make 50 then I added 25, and it made 75.  I took away 1 and that made 74. If we add the number we use the other number to add to the number, we add the numbers that we either take away or add. Tidy numbers are an easier way to add or subtract. Have you ever done this? If you did what was the number?

Skateboard Visit

 On Friday we had a skateboard visit the skateboard was the biggest in New Zealand it was really big we got to see it with Ruma Kereru. We got to look at the bottom and but not the top. That was fine with me. The people were Matt, James, Beaumont and the Skateboard was 18 times larger than the normal one. The big skateboard came to present the skateboard and say that skateboard should be in the Olympics.

We got to sit on the hinges stand and sit on the wheels we were not allowed to stand on the bolts that held the wheels up. There were cool designs on the bottom of the board. I really liked the skateboard. Have you ever seen a big skateboard?
